CASE STUDY : Fertility - Sharon

Introduction

Fertility is the ability to conceive a child. Fertility may not be at the forefront of your mind during the majority of your reproductive life and may only be thought of once a decision has been made to start a family.

Presentation

After trying to fall pregnant for 18 months.

Treatment

I commenced a weekly session of acupuncture with Emma with the plan to start IVF within 6 months if we could not fall pregnant naturally. With Emma's knowledge of fertility and acupuncture, this helped me make the changes I needed to my lifestyle to assist in a natural pregnancy. After 5 months of seeing Emma, we successfully fell pregnant, one month shy of starting IVF. We have not been blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Harper, born this August.
